Who?
My name is Chris. That’s me on the left.
What?
I’m currently training as a chartered accountant at a big-four firm. Prior to this I went to the University of Nottingham where I gained a 2:1 in Mathematics and on the whole had much fun. When not doing differential equations, sketching graphs, or generally doing really difficult sums, I spent most of my time with the Motorsport Club or the Gilbert & Sullivan Society.
When?
I was born on Towel Day 1984 (though it wasn’t celebrated back then).
Where?
I currently live and work in Birmingham but have previously been spotted lurking in and around Nottingham, Marlborough and Guildford.
Why?
I’ll assume you’re asking this with reference to my chosen career. Before telling you to get stuffed, I’ll mention only that I happen to quite like it and that I don’t intend to conform to the stereotype you’ve already conjured in your head.
How?
Good question. If you’re wondering how I am, then I’m fine thanks. If you’re wondering how I work, then drop me a line and we’ll do lunch. But only on the proviso that you don’t take me apart to see how I work - largely because the first thing you’ll then have is a non-working me.
Other things you might like to know
I am:
- …afraid only of the day when eating cakes ceases to be socially acceptable, crane flies and super-intelligent shades of the colour blue
- …a bit of a Star Wars/Hitchhiker’s Guide geek
- …the writer of a few limericks, some of which you might find funny
